Boston fashion designer, Cibeline Sariano to unveil 2010 spring/summer line

If you are looking for something to do tomorrow night that’s a little out of the ordinary, why not attend a fashion show? The Liberty Hotel on Beacon Hill in downtown Boston will be hosting my friend Cibeline Sariano, one of Boston’s premier designers who will be showing off 15 new looks from her 2010 spring and summer collection.

The fashion show is inspired by the hit Emmy-award winning television show, “Mad Men” and will be set to early 1960’s music. Cibeline’s looks will include signature knit jersey reversible wrap dresses; cotton eyelet dresses; seersucker jackets, pants and dresses; denim and linen trousers as well as colorful knit jersey halter tops. A sample sale will also be held at the Alibi Lounge in the hotel’s lower lobby prior to the fashion show. Here are the details:

I’ve always admired Cibeline’s passion for what she does, which I think shows in her work. While I do not consider myself to be an expert on fashion – let alone women's fashion – I think her clothes look great. In fact, she’s been dressing celebrities for red carpet events like The Emmys and The Academy Awards as well as nationally televised programs for several years.

Her career has led her around the world to places like Hong Kong, Italy and New York where she’s collaborated with some renowned designers like Calvin Klein and Liz Claiborne. She currently operates her namesake boutique on Charles Street in Beacon Hill. Check her out online at cibelinesariano.com.

See you at the show!
